Switzerland midfielder Hakan Yakin has joined Bundesliga side Stuttgart for an undisclosed fee.
The club confirmed that they have agreed a three-year deal with the Basle midifleder.
Stuttgart are second in the Bundesliga and will meet Chelsea in the first knockout round of the Champions League.
Hakan is their third signing this week, following the arrivals of striker Marco Streller, also from Basel, and defender Boris Zivkovic from Portsmouth.
