Blackburn Rovers striker Hakan Sukur has revealed that poor relations relationship with manager Graeme Souness is one of the reasons he will quit Blackburn at the end of the season.

Sukur confirmed yesterday that he was homesick at Blackburn and would like to return to Turkey, with Febnerbahce his favoured destination. The former Galatasaray forward has also revealed that he has endured problems with Rovers boss Souness.

“I have problems with Souness,” Sukur is quoted as saying.

“We had a problem after the Manchester United match and I will discuss it with him.

“There is an offer from Fenerbahce and they are a club I would consider playing for.

“There are also some serious offers from elsewhere that I will consider at the end of the season.”
