West Ham midfielder Don Hutchison has been recalled to the Scotland squad, despite not having started a match inalmost a year.

The verstaile midfielder has been out for almost a year since suffering cruciate ligament damage but Scotland coach Berti Vogts has brought him back in the international fold. However, despite his inactivity, Hutchison is expected to start against the Republic of Ireland when the two sides meet on February 12

Wolves pair Colin Cameron and Kenny Miller are both handed recalls to the squad, while Jamie Smith of Celtic is handed his first call up, along with Rangers defender Bob Malcolm.
