Inter will travel to England to face Manchester United in the second leg of their Champions League tie in good heart, according to the club’s leading scorer Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

After a goalless draw in the first clash at San Siro the sides meet again on Wednseday with a place in the quarterfinals at stake.

“I am relaxed and very confident,” Nerazzurri striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“They are a great side but so are we. We can do what is needed to progress to the next round. It won’t be easy but, if we want to lift the Champions League trophy, we have to win games like this one.”

The Swedish international is enjoying life under new boss Jose Mourinho this season and, with 14 goals to his name, is already within striking distance of last season’s tally of 17 in Serie A.

“It’s not easy to manage a great team like Inter – you need to have a great personality to deal with 24-25 champions,” said 27-year-old.

“Sometimes, you have to be pushed to understand you need to do more and it’s good if someone ends up being scared.

“I love this kind of mentality [in Mourinho]. I grew up at Ajax under Co Adriaanse, who was more or less similar to him. I like that a coach treats you badly from time to time and uses tough words. If someone tells me ‘you sucked’, it works for me.”
