Tottenham winger Aaron Lennon’s recovery from a groin injury has suffered a setback after scans revealed a fresh tear.
Spurs boss Harry Redknapp had hoped the 22-year-old was going to be fit to face Wigan last weekend, but he broke down in training before the match.
Spurs boss Harry Redknapp, speaking ahead of Wednesday night’s FA Cup fifth-round replay against Bolton, said: “He was close to getting fit, but has had a bit of a setback.
“Hopefully it should not put him back much from where he was, and he could still be fit in a couple of weeks.”
The England winger, who looked a strong contender for Fabio Capello’s World Cup squad, has not played for Tottenham since late December.
