Liverpool’s Champions League third qualifying round second leg against Maccabi Haifa has been switched to Kiev.

Uefa have confirmed that no European competitive matches are to be played in Israel given the current troubles in the country.

The game is to take place on August 22 at Dynamo Kiev’s Valery Lobanovskiy Stadium.

Liverpool had admitted that they were concered at the prospect of playing in Israel in the current political climate.

Rafael Benitez’s Liverpool side hold a 2-1 advantage after last week’s first leg at Anfield.
