Argentinean international striker Claudio Lopez has admitted that he is becoming increasingly fed-up with the financial situation at Lazio, after revealing that he has not been paid for five months.

Lopez has been linked with a move away from Lazio as the debt-ridden Roman club looks to reduce costs and raise capital. Manchester United, stillowed money by Lazio for the sale of Jaap Stam, would be a possible destination for the speedy Lopez and the Argentinian has not ruled out a move.

“There has been talk of who would leave in January ever since the summer but all we can do is carry on our work and when the time comes see who will be the first to go. Personally I don’t know what will happen to me,” he admitted.

“We have not forgotten the fact we haven’t been paid in over five months and all of us are frankly sick of this situation,” he added.

“There is no respect for the players. All we want is what is within our rights – a monthly wage for our work.”
