Northern Ireland face a huge test when Italy come to town for their Euro 2012 qualifier – see best odds on every market.

Manchester United striker Federico Macheda has rubbished claims that he will be leaving the club on loan in the January transfer window.

Reports last week suggested Lazio had agreed a deal to take the player back to the club when the transfer window opens again, withGazzetta dello Sport claiming the 19-year-old would then return to Italy on a permanent basis next summer.

Macheda said: “Will I be joining Lazio in the January transfer market? No, I don’t think so. [Sir Alex] Ferguson has said that I am not for sale.

“What can I say, I am very pleased to hear that, especially as these words have come from a coach with the charisma and history of Ferguson.”

United signed the player in September 2007 before he had penned a professional deal at Lazio.
