Lyon midfielder Florent Malouda has signed a contract that will keep him with French champions until 2011 after extending his existing current deal by a season.
Malouda, who was linked to several top European sides over the summer, joined Lyon in June 2003 from Guingamp. The 26-year-old has won 22 caps and was a member of the France team that reached the World Cup final in Germany.
Reserve goalkeeper Remy Vercoutre has also extended his deal with Lyon for a further 12 months.
