Steve McClaren has reportedly agreed a new deal at FC Twente.

The former England coach signed a two-year deal with the Eredivisie side in 2008 and guided the club to second place in the division in his debut season last term.

Twente have enjoyed a fine start to the season and currently lead Eredivsie and the club are keen to reward McClaren for his efforts.

“A new deal for Steve has been agreed,” McClaren’s representative, Colin Gordon told skysports.com.

“It is a rolling contract and there is just a bit of paperwork to be completed before it is finalised

“Steve is enjoying things at Twente and they are flying at the moment.”
