Milan have won the race to sign Brazilian youngster Alexandre Pato.
The 17-year-old, who was one of the stars at last months Under-20 World Cup in Canada, also received offers from Chelsea, Real Madrid and Internazionale – but he has chosen Champions League winners’ Milan.
According to reports, Milan will pay his club Internacional just short of £10m for his services.
Milan confirmed the deal in a statement, revealing he will become their player in January.
“The highly-talented Alexandre Pato will train with Milan and will be able to play friendly matches from September 3, 2007.
“From January 2008, he will be eligible for competitive games.”
