Vincenzo Montella is enjoying life at Fulham and admits he is delighted with the level of support he has received since his arrival.

The Roma striker has scored three goals in four matches since arriving earlier this month, and he admits that the start of his spell in England could not have been better.

“It’s fantastic because the chorus came before my goals,” Montella told ‘Gazzetta dello Sport’. “The (Fulham) supporters prepared it when I arrived in London.

“I already heard them singing at Leicester when I made my debut in the final stages of the English FA Cup match on January 6th.

“It means they have adopted me with affection, and it gave me a big charge.

“I haven’t played a lot in the last few months,” he added. “I’m still missing the rhythm of the match a little.

“It’s really quick in the Premiership, but I still hope to play more.

“At my age, continuity is important.”
