Ronaldo has admitted that he is tempted by the prospect of a move to England, with Arsenal being his favoured destination.
The Sun newspaper claims that Ronaldo has reportedly discussed the idea of playing in England with team-mate Steve McManaman.
“Steve has told me many times that, in England, I would score goals for fun,” Ronaldo told The Sun.
“Arsenal are one of the great, traditional English clubs so perhaps I should go and play for them.
“The idea of taking my career to The Premiership is very attractive.
“I know a lot about English football and admire the achievements of Arsenal and Manchester United.”
Ronaldo was recently accused by Real boss Vicente Del Bosque of not playing for the team – an accusation later withdrawn by the coach.
