After five and a half seasons at Chelsea, Ramires has officially left the club and has joined Chinese Super League club Jiangsu Suning for a fee believed to be in the excess of £20m.

The move is a great piece of business for the reigning champions of England, who had signed the Brazilian international for £18m back in 2010.

Ramires will link up with former blue player and Jiangsu Suning manager Dan Petrescu.

‘Rami’ as he known to Chelsea fans, is symptomatic for his marauding midfield displays that helped Chelsea achieve five major honours scoring 37 goals in 242 games. He also has two goal of seasons to his name for his club, including his fine goal at the Camp Nou versus Barcelona.

He also amassed five major honours for the club; including a Europa League title and most recently the Premier League title under Jose Mourinho.

He recently signed a new four-year deal in October, however he has not started for Chelsea in the league as much as he had hoped for, with his last start coming against Leicester City back in December.
