Real Madrid striker Raul was on target twice in Spain’s 3-1 friendly win over Germany, to become his country’s top goal scorer in history.

Before thegame, Raul had been level on 29 goals with Real Madrid club team-mate Fernando Hierro. The 25-year-old has now scored 31 goals in 59 games for Spain.

“I want to dedicate this record to my family, who have always supported me in my career,” Raul said afterwards.
