Spurs unsettled striker Sergei Rebrov has been linked with a move to Serie A club Perugia.

It is no secret that both player and club are anxious for the Ukrainian to move on; Rebrov has not played for Spurs at all this season.

Over the past week he has been linked with first London club Fulham then Turkish side Fenerbahce.

A move to Fulham broke down, because Rebrov was supposedly put off by the precarious position of Cottageers boss Jean Tigana, while it is believed talks with the Turks have stalled over Rebrov’s wage demands.

Perugia are willing to offer Spurs their striker Nicola Amoruso in part-exchange, though the Italian has said: “Any transfer will have to meet with my approval, not just Perugia’s.”
