Acccording to reports in Sweden, Roma are prepared to pay £9 million for Ajax’s Swedish international striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Ajax are reported to prep[ared to sell the in-demand 21-year-old to the Serie A club, assuming the price is right.
“Unless Ajax change their price he will play for us next season,” the Swedish daily Aftonbladet, quoted Roma’s marketing executive Franco Baldini as saying.
Anders Carlsson, agent for Ibrahimovic, refused to comment on the speculation, the newspaper added.
Ibrahimovic, who has won 15 caps for Sweden, scoring three goals, is under contract with Ajax until 2005.
