Roma have signned Bayern Munich’s out-of-contract defender Samuel Kuffour.
The Ghanaian has signed a three-year deal with the Giallorossi after the Serie A club beat off competition from several club for his signatures.
“I’ve chosen Roma because I want to enjoy my football,” said Kuffour.
“This is a great club. I turned down more important offers because I want to win things here.
“I’m absolutely delighted that I can now play with champions such as Francesco Totti, Antonio Cassano, Vincenzo Montella and Cristian Chivu.”
