Ronaldo is confident he can earn the affection of the Reall Madrid supporters, despite being booed by fans during Tuesday’s Champions League quarter-final first leg victory over Manchester United.
Ronaldo’s substitution six minutes from the end of Madrid’s 3-1 win over Manchester United, was greeted with boos, but the Brazilian is determined to win over diisgruntled supporters.
“The Bernabeu crowd is a like a woman,” the Brazilian striker said afterwards.
“You have to win her over anew each day. I expect things will be different in the next game.”
Ronaldo has scored 14 league goals and two in the Champions League, but he been criticised for his lack of effort.
“The fans know I can give a lot to this team and they’re always looking for the best from me,” he added.
“I’m happy with the way I’m playing and I hope to make them happy with me.”
