Arsenal and France defender Bacary Sagna expects to be out of action for another three weeks as he continues his recovery from a left thigh injury.

Sagna, 27, played in Arsenal’s 2-0 defeat to Chelsea a week ago but is sitting out France’s Euro 2012 qualifying double header against Romania and Luxembourg due to the injury.

He told French television programme Stade 2: “It’s okay. I’m currently in rehabilitation. It will take three weeks. I’ll take my time to get back.”

Sagna will miss home Premier League clash with Birmingham on Saturday and the trip to Manchester City eight days later plus the Champions League game against Shakhtar Donetsk.
