Internazionale president Massimo Moratti has admitted that signing Thierry Henry is only a “dream” for the club.

Moratti concedes that it might be impossible to land the Frenchman, even if Henry does leave Arsenal in the summer.

“Henry? For the moment, I dream that the players we have at this moment will do good things because this would allow us to obtain something this season,” Moratti told Gazzetta dello Sport.

“For the rest, it depends really either on these players’ will or from Henry’s will at the end of the season.

“Anyway, don’t talk about dreams.

“We will see, in a pragmatic way, what will happen from now to the end of the season.”

Henry, meanwhile, has confirmed that he will announce his intentions before the World Cup kicks off in June.

“At the end of the season, we are going to have to take a decision,” he told Arsenal TV Online.

“It will be done before the World Cup, that’s for sure.”
