Carlos Tevez’s future at Manchester United has been thrown into doubt after the striker’s representative Kia Joorabchian admitted he is ”studying other options”.

Tevez loan at Old Trafford expires at the end of the season and United have failed to take up their option to sign the striker on a permanent basis.

“Carlos is in the market now that United have not made any move for him,” Joorabchian told the Daily Star.

“We are now studying other options and interested parties. There is no option left with United any longer.”

United missed the chance to seal a deal for Tevez in January, despite the Argentine’s claims that he would be happy to stay in the Premier League.

Argentina boss Diego Maradona has urged Tevez to join Serie A leaders Inter, who have been linked with a £30m bid (along with Real Madrid) in the summer, but Joorabchian suggests they will not be the only clubs interested.

Tevez himself has said recently that he would have to wait until June to discover where he would be playing his football next season, claiming: “My mind is pointing me towards United and my plan is to stay here for several years more. I’ve already talked to the club and now we’ll have to wait and see what happens in June.

“We talked but I’ve signed nothing yet. I want to stay. It would be difficult for me to quit one of the biggest clubs in the world.”
