France international striker David Trezeguet is edging ever closer to signing a new contract with Italian giants Juventus according to Luciano Moggi, the club’s general manager.
The Turin outfit will be eager to sign up their star man with his current deal due to expire at the end of next season and Moggi was keen to point out at that the negotiations are at an advanmced stage and going well.
“There aren’t any problems,” he said.
“It has been a really cordial meeting in which we have laid the foundations in order for David to stay at Juve for many years.
“It’s a delicate contract. Trezeguet is a champion and so we are defining the details.
“Trezeguet isn’t, and won’t be, a problem.”
