David Trezeguet has ended speculation about his future by signing a new deal at Juventus.

The 29-year-old France striker has agreed a contract that will keep him in Turin until June 2011.

Trezeguet had been a reported target for Arsenal after his compatriot Thierry Henry’s move to Barcelona from The Emirates.

A statement on the Juve website, juventus.it, said: “Juventus Football Club has extended David Trezeguet’s contract until 30 June, 2011.”

He has scored 145 goals in seven seasons at Juventus.
