Valencia have made their third signing from Serie A this summer, adding Juve striker Marco Di Vaio to their squad.
Di Vaio follows Lazio’s Stefano Fiore and Bernardo Corradi to the Mestalla for a fee of around £7.5m.
The Italian signed a five-year deal, linking up with his compatriot coach Claudio Ranieri and calling into question the future of Mista at the Spanish club.
Valencia officials had demanded last year’s top scorer tell them his plans for the coming season, it now appears – with the arrival of Di Vaio and Corradi – they may have already decided to let him leave.
