Chelsea’s Argentinian midfielder, Juan Sebastian Veron, has agreed to join Inter on a year-long loan deal.
The Premiership club have sanctioned the return to Italy of the former Lazio player after holding discussions with new Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho.
The Argentine international missed much of last season with a back injury, but even when fit, his contribtution was minimal.
Former Chelsea boss Claudio Ranieri described Veron as the best midfielder in the world after when he signed from Manchester United in August 2003. But despite scoring on his debut in a 2-1 win over Liverpool, Veron endured a miserable season at Stamford Bridge.
