Inter are awaiting results of tests on striker Christian Vieri’s injured knee.
The Italian international striker hobbled off before half-time during Inter’s 2-1 away defeat to Valencia in the Champion’s League last night.
Vieri is currently undergoing further tests to find out the severity of the injury.
It is feared that he has strained a collateral knee ligament. If that is the case, he would certainly miss the remainder of the season, which would come as a huge blow to Inter’s Champion’s League aspirations.
