Eredivisie strugglers Vitesse Arnhem have appointed former Spain defender Albert Ferrer as their new coach.
The club have appointed Ferrer as a replacement for Theo Bos who was sacked last week.
Ferrer has signed a one-and-half-year deal to take charge of Vitesse after impressing the club’s new owner Georgian Merab Jordania.
It will be Ferrer’s first foray into management and he will be assisted by Stanley Menzo, Albert Capellas Herms and Hans van Arum, with former Manchester United keeper Raimond van der Gouw continuing as goalkeeping coach at the GelreDome.
