Arsenal have signed Bastia defender Alexandre Song on a one-year loan deal.
The two clubs have also agreed a fee of £2.75m if Arsenal decide to sign him on a permanent basis next summer.
Song, who is the nephew of former Liverpool player Rigobert Song, made 34 appearances last season for the French club.
The 19-year-old impressed manager Arsene Wenger during Arsenal’s pre-season training camp in Austria.
