Bordeaux’s Moroccan striker Marouane Chamakh has called on the French club to accept’s Arsenal offer to sign him.

Arsenal are reportedly keen to sign Chamakh but Bordeaux president Jean-Louis Triaud has said that Arsenal’s offer for the 25-year-old was insufficient.

Now Chamakh has called on Bordeaux to drop their resistance to a higher offer from Arsenal.

“Going to Arsenal is my dream,” Chamakh told French sports daily L’Equipe. “I am at the end of my contract and the club want to turn this into a money issue. What the club are asking for is not fair.”
