Sevilla have said that Chelsea will have to come up with an opening offer of €30m if they are to have a hope of signing Daniel Alves.

Jose Mourinho is reported to be a big fan of Alves, but will have to increase an opening bid of €25million (£16.8million) before negotiations can commence.

“If we receive a bid of €30m then we could start to talk,” Sevilla president, Jose Maria del Nido said.

One player that will not be leaving Sevilla this summer is Jesus Navas after he agreed to sign an improved contract.

Navas has signed a new three-year deal, with the option of a further two seasons, while his buy-out clause of €60m remains the same.
