Sevilla have reached agreement with Daniel Alves over an extension of his current deal.

The Brazilian wing-back is now set to sign a revised deal that ties him to the Primera outfit until 2012.

Sevilla were keen to offer Alvez improved terms to fed off several suitors including Liverpool and Barcelona.

The 23-year-old insists he is delighted to be signing the new deal with the reigning Uefa Cup holders.

“I am very happy because everything is perfect at Sevilla,” he stated.

“We have won titles and this season could be more important still for us.”

Alves joined Sevilla from Brazilian outfit Bahia back in 2002.
