Former Italy goalkeeper Walter Zenga has been apppointed coach of Serie A strugglers Catania.
The Sicilians fired Silvio Baldini on Monday after a 2-1 home defeat by Torino on Sunday.
“Catania want to confirmm that they have agreed a deal with Zenga,” reads a statement from sporting director Pietro Lo Monaco on the club’s website.
“The presentation of the new boss will take place at 11am in the Press room at Catania’s headquarters.”
Zenga quit as coach of Romania’s Dinamo Bucharest in November after losing a derby to former club Steaua Bucharest.
He earned 58 caps for Italy and was a mainstay of Inter’z side in the 1980s and early 90s.
