Bayern Munich have won their first six Bundesliga gamesof the season but captain Oliver Kahn believes they can still get better- with Chelsea setting the benchmark.

“Chelsea have won their first six games without even conceding a goal,” Kahn said after Tuesday’s 1-0 win away to Eintracht Frankfurt.

“You should always set higher and higher objectives for yourself, without being arrogant about it.”

Bayern have conceded three goals in their six Bundesliga wins, although they have scored 15.

Chelsea, who knocked Bayern out of the Champions League last season, have scored 12 and conceded none in their start to the season.

Bayern are in the midst of a record 15-match winning sequence, a run that stretches back to March.

“We shouldn’t just resign ourselves to the fact that the run of wins will end at some point,” Kahn said.

“We have to approach every game in the normal way. We also needed luck against Frankfurt but we shouldn’t over-estimate the importance of good fortune. We’re capable of scoring at any moment.”
