Monaco coach Didier Deschamps has dismissed talk of a a switch to former club Juventus and revealed he could be in line for a new deal with the French club.

The Frenchman has been linked with the manager’s job at the Stadio Delle Alpi after a disappointing season for the Italian giants.

Deschamps has been attracting attention due to the success currently being enjoyed by his Monaco side. Last night they caused a major shock in defeating Real Madrid to reach the last four of the Champions League.

“Here I feel good. I have another year’s contract and officials want to extend it,” said Deschamps.

“Many things have been written but I never told anything.

“I think to Marcello Lippi and his group, these rumours can trouble them when they have to achieve important aims, like the second place in the league and Coppa Italia.” Ê
