Landon Donovan says he is undecided about whether to return to the Premier League in January.

The United States international secured a loan move to Everton last season following the end of the MLS campaign., and there has been talk of a similar move this term.

The Toffees would welcome the opportunity to bring him back to Goodison Park, with David Moyes impressed by Donovan during his previous spell on Merseyside.

The forward insists he has given little thought to his future, though, and is keen to take a break before making his next move.

“Give me a few weeks and I will have an answer for you,” Donovan told Sky Sports News.

“Right now I’m four days into my vacation and I’m going to enjoy it. I’m going to chill and then in a few weeks I will make a decision.”

Donovan admits 2010 has been a good year for him, with his displays with Everton, at the World Cup with USA and in helping the Galaxy to the MLS divisional play-offs.

“Both personally and professionally I would have to say it’s been the best year of my life,” said the 28-year-old.

“This time of year, I guess, is the time to reflect on it and realise how special this was.”
