With rumours of unrest at Man City, how will they fare at Lech Poznan in the Europa League on Thursday? Easyodds tipster Simon Hopper previews the football betting.

Almost four months after they were promised $50,000 each as bonuses following their World Cup exploits, several members of Ghana’s World Cup squad have accused the Bank of Ghana of delaying the payments.

The bank has denied the claim and says “it has been unable to release the monies because paying the amounts in cash as expected of it by the Sports Ministry and players would contravene its own operational guidelines.”

The bank says it has informed the ministry that it would pay the foreign exchange amounts either to the bank accounts of the players or by cheque.

It says it is “in line with international best practice and with various security considerations.”

At the finals in South Africa, Ghana came within a penalty shootout of becoming the first African side to reach the World Cup semi-finals.
