Deportivo La Coruna boss Javier Irureta will make decision over his future with the club at the end of the month.

Irureta is in his seventh season at Depor but he has been tipped to leave the club when his contract expires in the summer.

Depor’s disappointing form this term is seen as a major factor in his expected departure with the club – a title challenger for the last decade – struggling to qualify for next season’s Champions League.

Irureta has decided to wait until the forthcoming fixtures against Real Betis and Real Madrid before making an announcement about his plans.

“We have to play Betis on February 20 and then entertain Real Madrid on the 26th or 27th,” he stated. “After that the club and I will take a decision.

“At the moment, I am totally calm, because I have not made any decisions. Let’s see what happens.”
