Fredi Kanoute has admitted he would not rule out a return to his former club Tottenham.

The Sevilla striker has been linked with a move back to White Hart Lane following the appointment of Juande Ramos.

Mali international Kanoute says he would consider a return to England if Tottenham came made an approach.

Kanoute told The Sun: “I would like to play in the Premier League again one day – who knows?

“I had a good time there so why not? If the opportunity comes I’d look into it.

“At the moment I am happy in Spain but if Tottenham offer me a great opportunity then I would consider it. Let’s wait and see.

“I’ve probably improved since I went to Spain but I feel there are parts of my game that can get better.

“I have scored more goals in Spain than I did in England.”
