Bayern Munich coach Jurgen Klinsmann believes his team will bounce back from Saturday’s humiliating 5-2 defeat at home to Werder Bremen.

“We will draw the correct conclusions from the game, but we won’t be sticking our head in the sand,” he told the club’s official website.

“We will bounce back and maybe be even stronger than before.”

Meanwhile, France international Franck Ribery may return to first-team action in Wednesday’s DFB Cup clash against Nurnberg.

The 25-year-old has been out of action all season after suffering a calf strain at Euro 2008 but is expected to be part of the squad against Nurnberg.

Klinsmann said: “We will be taking a close look at him tomorrow and Tuesday.

“We will then decide whether he will be in the starting line-up or whether it would be better to keep him on the bench.”
