Bayern Munich striker Luca Toni has admitted that he would welcome a move to Napoli.
The Italy international is out of favour at the Allianz Arena amid competition for a starting spot with fellow strikers Miroslav Klose, Ivica Olic and Mario Gomez.
“Napoli is an important club and they have great fans,” Napoli told Italian radio station .
“Club president Aurelio De Laurentiis has big ideas so we shall see what happens. It’s still early days.”
Toni, who recovered from an Achilles tendon injury in September, admitted he would relish the chance to play alongside Fabio Quagliarella and Ezequiel Lavezzi.
“Quagliarella and Lavezzi are two great strikers,” he added.
“Together with them I would feel great and we would make up a very good attacking trio.”
