Milan have confirmed they would be interested in signing Ronaldo – should the Brazilian superstar leave Real Madrid.

Internazionale are known to be interested in bringing the Brazilian back to Giuseppe Meazza – two years after he left for the Spanish capital.

Milan sent former player Leonardo – now a scout for the club – to visited Ronaldo in Dublin, before Brazil’s international with Ireland to gauge the mood of his compatriot.

“I had the chance to speak with Ronaldo in Dublin about if he would like to play someday for Milan and he didn’t yes or no,” said Leonardo.

“We only had a short conversation. We have very good relationship and I asked him about what he will do in the future.

“He is in contract with Real Madrid and Milan will not interfere between them, but who wouldn’t like to have Ronaldo in the club?”
