Milan president Silvio Berlusconi would like Juventus striker Alessandro Del Piero to finish his career at the San Siro.
Del Piero became Juve’s all-time leading scorer in Serie A last Sunday when scoring in a 2-1 victory at the San Siro.
But the former Italian international’s contract expires in the summer and a decision has yet to be made on his future.
Berlusconi told Agi: “I went to the changing room to congratulate everyone and especially Del Piero.
“I told him that I know his contract is set to expire and I offered him the chance to come to Milan.”
But Del Piero’s agent and brother, Stefano, insists that the striker is in no rush to make a decision.
He told calciomercato.it: “Alessandro has never asked for a meeting with Juventus’ leaders. He is not worried about the end of his contract in June.”
