Manuel Pellegrini has appeared to say that he managed Manchester United instead of Manchester City after winning his first trophy as City’s manager on Sunday.
Speaking to the BBC after the 3-1 Capital One Cup final victory over Sunderland at Wembley, Pellegrini said:
“I love pressure so to manage a big team as Manchester United and to have options in all the competitions is very good, is very beautiful for all of us.”
