Real Madrid are keen to sign Chelsea striker Didier Drogba and will swoop for the Ivory Coast international in the summer, according to El Mundo.

Real have offered a four-year deal to Drogba’s agent, said the newspaper.

The 29-year-old openly admitted to being upset at the departure of coach Jose Mourinho last month although he also said he was not looking to leave the club.

Real’s German coach Bernd Schuster told the Daily Mirror that he is interested in signing Drogba.

“He’s a very interesting player, a priority for us. We’ve been chasing him for a long time,” said Schuster.
