The Austrian Bundesliga has withdrawn the licences for next season from Premier League Salzburg and Bregenz.

The decision to revoke the clubs’ licences was atttributed to undisclosed financial reasons.

The clubs have 10 days to appeal against the decision before a final verdict will be delivered by the Bundesliga committee at the end of May.

Salzburg are currently in fourth place in the league while Bregenz lie bottom in 10th position.
