With a whole host of top players out of England’s friendly against Germany this Wednesday, how do you think the Three Lions will get on?

Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has dismissed speculation that Andriy Shevchenko is set to join Real Madrid in January.

Real are looking for striking reinforcements after losing Ruud van Nistelrooy for the rest of the season through injury.

Juventus atriker Amauri, Inter’s Hernan Crespo and Lyon’s Karim Benzema have also been linked with a move to the Bernabeu as coach Bernd Schuster attempts to strengthen his forward line.

But Galliani insists Shevchenko – who returned to Milan from Chelsea in the summer – will not be moving to Spain.

“Technically the transfer wouldn’t be impossible because a player can move twice in one season,” he told Datasport.it.

“However, Shevchenko will not be leaving. He is untouchable and he will keep playing for us.”
