Norwegian wonderkid Martin Odegaard has agreed to join Real Madrid and all that remains is for the European champions to agree terms with his club Strømsgodset.

The transfer fee may be around 20-30 million euros – a huge figure for a young player who only turned 16 last month – and Odegaard will play in Madrid’s B team until the end of the season.

One other element of the deal is the that Odegaard’s father, Hans Erik, will join the club in a coaching capacity.

Odegaard has trained with both Manchester City and United as they clubs courted the Scandinavian, who made his Norway international debut at the age of 15 last year.
