Chelsea striker Hernan Crespo has played down reports linking him with a return to Italy.
Crespo, 30, has been previously quoted as saying he misses Italy, where he has spent much of his career.
Crespo told the Chelsea website: “I don’t like this speculation. I think I’m a professional and I play with my heart at Chelsea.
“In June I don’t know what will happen as in the last four years I’ve always changed club. I want to stay here.”
Crespo joined Chelsea for £16m from Inter three years ago but after an unhappy spell at Stamford Bridge, he returned to Serie A to play on loan for Milan.
He spent last season on loan at Milan, where he showed a renewed appetite for the game and was a key member of the Milan team that reached the Champions League final.
However, with Chelsea unable to sign a new striker last summer, he was summoned back to the club and has scored ten goals this season.
“Complaining about my current situation at Chelsea is the last thing on my mind,” said the Argentinian. “In fact, it’s quite the opposite.
“My relationship with coach Jose Mourinho is very good and I understand that it’s impossible to play every game, so from a working point of view, there is no issue.
“The team is in very good shape, there is a sense of strength about us and we are proud of that.”
