Brazilian World Cup winner Edmilson has revealed that he has received offers from Leeds United and Hertha Berlin but confirmed that he is almost certainly going to stay with Lyon.
The Brazilian defender had been linked with moves to several European clubs but admitted that the only firm offers he received came from Leeds and Hertha Berlin – neither of whom appeals.
“The last offers I had were from Leeds and Hertha Berlin,” said Edmilson.
“Both clubs are a little under Lyon on the European scene, and, in those conditions, I cannot see the interest in leaving the champions of France.
“However, I can confirm that if a good opportunity comes along, then I would seize it.
